There's a hopeful quality to the whole thing that I think even the artist misses. A personal work, and there is certainly gloom to it, but that's not you encounter first. It's almost as you could listen to it backwards and hear the artist climb into the light. We sink into the darkness too, but there's is such a hopeful quality to a lot of this music, and that's what really drew me in. I'm just a sucker for chimes, too.
